A Bad Days Goodnight
I recently went to a band competition at Hype Cental at Castle Hill. All the bands were amazing especially Zygotic and My Future Lies, but I managed to pick my favorite band, they are called 'A Bad Days Goodnight'. The lead singer Natasha has an amazing voice and their songs are all really catchy. After their performance I immediatly bought their EP and as soon as I got home I put their songs on my Ipod and became a fan of 'A bad days goodnight' on facebook and followed them on'Twitter'.

Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from London who sounds a bit like Katy Perry and Missy Higins. You may think that is a weird combination, but she actually sounds really good. Listen to her songs when your chilling out at home on the lounge reading a good book. Her music is very relaxing and enjoyable to listen to. Ellie's songs have very meaningful lyrics, some of her lyrics are a little strange but you can't help but like her songs. An example is:
Who are we to be emotional? Who are we to play with hearts and throw away it all?
Oh, who are we to turn eachother's heads? Who are we to find ourselves in other people's beds?
Strange, I know, but when you listen to it you can tell she knows what she is singing about and that she has a connection with the songs. Make sure you become Ellie Goulding's new fan and buy her new album called 'Lights'.
Amy Meredith
Amy Meredith is an Austalian band (they are really awesome, if I may add) , they have had many hit songs such as 'Pornstar' (people look at you really weird if you start singing this out loud) which peaked at No. 65 on the Aria charts and No. 38 on the Itunes single charts and 'Lying' which is No. 10 in the Aria charts. The current band members are Christian (lead vocals, keyboard), Joel (guitar), Wade (bass guitar), Cameron (guitar) and Kosta (drums). I went to their meet and greet last Friday at Warringah Mall( if you weren't there than too bad), I was surprised to find that they actually sound really good live. They are all really fantastic so check out their music or better yet, buy their new album 'Restless' out now.
